Lawrence Yong Jun

Prior to becoming associated with CAPPAT, Mr. Jun was involved in the development and licensing of consumer  electronics products for LG Electronics, Co., Ltd. for almost 20 years. As the leader of a business development unit, Mr. Jun was chiefly responsible for a $2.5 billion product line, the licensing of related patent portfolios and the strategic acquisition of complimentary patent portfolios.

The products involved ranged from Blu-ray players to mobile devices to semiconductors.

Since coming to the United States in 2008, Mr. Jun has continued to assist  Fortune 500 multi-national corporations in the strategic development of their product lines and patent portfolios.

As a U.S. patent agent, Mr. Jun has been responsible for the prosecution of semiconductor and mobile device applications.

Mr. Jun has joined Capitol Patent & Trademark Law Firm as an independent consultant, patent agent and licensing specialist.
