Carmen Lyles-Irving – Of Counsel

Carmen Lyles-Irving is a registered Patent Attorney specializing in patent and trademark prosecution and counseling. As a former Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Carmen has first-hand experience on how to guide an inventor’s application through the patent examination process while securing the broadest patent protection possible.

Carmen’s trademark experience includes the search and clearance of proposed marks, the preparation and prosecution of trademark applications in the USPTO, and the management of trademark portfolios. Carmen also has experience in matters concerning Internet brand and domain name usage, including the representation of companies in ICANN Uniform Dispute Resolution proceedings.
